To make this syrup, simply add these herbs to a pot with enough water to cover by an inch and bring to a boil and then simmer.  Allow for herbs to simmer for 40 minutes and then strain out herbs.  With remaining liquid, allow the extract to simmer and evaporate off liquid until 24 ounces/pint and half is left.  Then allow liquid extract to cool for a few minutes and then add 8 ounces of honey.  You will be left with 32 ounces (1 quart) of syrup. place in jar and cap and then place in the refrigerator.    Take two tablespoons (one ounce) 2 times a day.  This is enough for about two weeks.

 

Strong Mind Syrup

This is a slightly more stimulating recipe that is good for those who feel dull in thought with challenges in memory and attentiveness but with no great signs of restlessness or agitation.

Rhodiola 1 ounce

Ashwaghanda 1 ounce

American ginseng 1 ounce

Bacopa  1ounce

Gotu Kola  1 ounce

Gingko  1 ounce
