Reduce pain is my way of helping people access a huge amount of information for free and look at ways that they can help themselves.  But sometimes it can be complicated to know how to make that all work to help one feel better.  It can be tricky to know what combination of herbs to take, when to take them and for how long.


My goal as an herbalist is not only to educate people how to help themselves but to also provide the best quality herbal preparations that are made with love with organically grown and wildcrafted herbs.  When I can I am constantly going to friend’s herbal farms, distilling plants into essential oils, walking in the woods and hand selecting herbs for formulas specific to the needs of my clients.


A good herbalist knows their plants and spends time with them in the field.  They know if they like sun or shade, when they flower and how they smell touch and taste.  Its important that each client with whom I work also get that same type of care and attention.


When I work with clients I bring my two decades of experience in the mental health field as well.  I have worked in outpatient clinics, hospitals and in my own private practice working with thousands of people over the years.  That experience helps me craft and tailor my work to each individual.  My practice is trauma informed and honors that most of our painful emotional experiences have to do with stress, trauma and oppression.


My approach is as a folk herbalist, offering simple, nourishing and gently healing preparations.  I am not a big fan of capsules and pills and I tend to offer hand crafted syrups and elixirs, tinctures, teas, herbs for bone broths, aromatic oils and sprays.  I believe in slow mental health, helping the nervous system to become calmer and more resilient, improving gut health and providing deep nourishment with nutrient rich preparations.
